LiqMap (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the LiqMap website and API (the “Service”). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We never receive or store your Google password.
  • API key. We generate a unique API key tied to your account so you can access the API.
  • Usage data. We log requests to the Service — timestamps, the endpoints and symbols requested, a masked API-key identifier, response status, latency, and IP address — to operate the Service, enforce rate limits, and prevent abuse.
  • Cookies. We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use information

  • To authenticate you and provide access to the Service.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To enforce rate limits and detect or prevent abuse and fraud.
  • To contact you about your account or important service changes if necessary.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: Google, to provide “Sign in with Google”; service providers strictly necessary to operate the Service (e.g. hosting); and authorities where required by law.

Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact). You can also revoke LiqMap’s access from your Google Account’s “Third-party access” settings.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law.

Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) transport and restricted server access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to, and not intended for, anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
